Corporate structure & governance

GHSCL is governed as a disciplined international enterprise. This page explains our governance posture, our institutional boundaries and how we handle accuracy in corporate representation.

Government-linked, not a government body

GHSCL is a government-linked company (GLC) as represented by its corporate leadership. Government linkage describes institutional representation and coordination; it does not make GHSCL a government department, a statutory regulator, or the halal authority itself.

We do not exercise regulatory authority over any party. Where our ecosystem connects to authorities — including Malaysian halal authorities such as JAKIM — those authorities retain their own decision-making within their own jurisdictions.

Our governance principles

  • Clarity of roles: corporate, ecosystem, technology and governance roles are kept legally and operationally distinct.
  • Evidence discipline: material corporate claims are supported by verifiable records.
  • Decision integrity: operational decisions, authority decisions and technology outputs are never conflated.
  • Accuracy over promotion: unverified ownership percentages, mandates or endorsements are not published.
  • Confidentiality: personal executive contact details are never published; engagement runs through controlled corporate channels.

Structure in brief

Detailed corporate structure — ownership percentages, subsidiaries and formal mandates — is maintained in verified corporate documents and is not invented for public presentation. Public summaries describe the operating model: the corporate enterprise (GHSCL), the AMANAH digital trust ecosystem, and the AHTE trust & evidence infrastructure, each with distinct roles.

Accountability and enquiries

Governance questions, institutional engagement and media enquiries are received through our corporate enquiries channel. Submissions are validated, consent-recorded and handled by the appropriate corporate function.
